1. Cooking for Lucky
Smith spends a lot of time cooking for her husband, fellow
model Lucky Blue Smith. The pair have been married since 2020, and Smith posts
what’s known as “tradwife” content, where women post very traditional cooking
and home care videos, usually while wearing something stylish. Here, she makes
her husband homemade Blow Pops for an upcoming road trip, right down to the gum
center. Not the most practical snack, but fascinating to watch.
2. Soda Run
A lot of times, Smith will go through the steps of making
something that’s probably way easier to buy, such as soda or even toothpaste.
Here, she mentions they ran out of Coca Cola, so she whips some up like it’s no
big deal. If her kids want peanut butter and jelly, she’ll bake the bread, stew
some jam and blend up peanut butter from fresh peanuts.
3. Cereal Bowl
Speaking of kids, here Smith makes homemade Cinnamon Toast Crunch for
them when they want cereal instead of using Postmates (what we would have done). Smith shares three children with her husband — Rumble
Honey, Slim Easy and the recently born Whimsy Lou. Lucky also has a daughter,
Gravity Blue, from a previous relationship.
4. Potato, Fish and Family
Smith often cooks for friends and family. Here, she
makes a quick dinner to welcome her parents from a flight from Germany. Of
course her friend brought her potatoes from Idaho. We clearly have the wrong friends. Her gauzy couture top is
also not the usual chef’s coat, but we've come to expect nothing less.
5. Snack Time
It’s pretty incredible how Smith has racked up almost nine
million followers on TikTok in a short time. At only 22, she’s only beginning
to build her cooking empire, having previously modeled from ages 14 to 18. Her
followers seem to love her more ridiculous recipes the most, like here, when
she makes only a dozen Takis from scratch. This is what separates her from the other cooks on TikTok and we're wondering where she'll go from here.
6. Satire
As the saying goes, imitation is the sincerest form of
flattery, like this mom blogger who copies Smith’s trademark voice to make an
equally ridiculous hamburger cake (when her son just wanted a cheeseburger).
Nara Smith parodies are all over TikTok, proving that she’s so much more than
one or two viral videos — she's the zeitgeist for Gen Z.
7. The Ultimate Nest Flex
Smith’s “What I Eat in a Day” clips are also very popular on
TikTok. Here, she was very pregnant, but still cooking up a storm all day long. This is the
way we all aspire to nest, looking chic and with energy for days.
8. A Little Meal Prep
In
this video, Smith shows her weekly meal prep, but of course, it involves making
homemade Goldfish Crackers, among many, many other things. Will there ever be a time where Smith goes too far in
the eyes of her followers? If the Fanta recipe doesn’t scare them away, nothing
will.
