Bridesmaids no longer need to match like they’re wearing a uniform. The bride can dictate a color palette or silhouette and leave it up to her attendants to choose what works for them. With this approach, the dress will better flatter the bridesmaids' style, skin tone and body shape.

Pearls are the perfect jewelry choice for the bride, bridesmaids or even décor. They’re delicate, yet go with everything. Choose sustainably faux pearls or real with vintage as a better option.      

The coppery color has been seen everywhere at weddings this year. From bridesmaid dresses to flowers and tablescapes, everything is coming up rust. It’s a nice balance between the neutral trend and a little bit of warm color. It will work equally well for summer or fall.

After a long desert of neutral, not only are bright colors back, but patterns and prints too. Bridesmaids can wear hot pink, yellow and blue but also florals, checks and geometric patterns.

Since fireworks are not sustainable or always practical and many venues are now banning sparklers, couples are looking for other options for the big sendoff. Big flowers are already back, but specifically along the aisle where they make a bold statement. Either in bunches or runners along the sides, this is a great way to give the ceremony portion the extra flair. You can always cut costs by reusing the same displays during the reception. Lights are also an option, too.

When you say your “I dos,” the wedding party no longer needs to stand in a line next to the bride and groom. Wedding parties are having a seat so that the happy couple has a more intimate moment, with just them and the officiant at the front during the vows.      

Lots of trends are fading away in 2023. Goodbye welcome bags, monogrammed in a way that we’ll never use them again. Customized hashtags for social media are so passé. Instead of signature cocktails, offer a gin cart or tableside cocktail service.
