I've never met a pasta dish I didn't like, but I've sure met a lot that I love. And, recently, I may have found the pasta dish I'll be obsessed with until the end of time, courtesy of Trader Joe's. The grocery chain is everyone's favorite stop on the average day, but TJ's really pops off in the cooler months. Which is what led me to find their butternut squash ravioli, and an accompanying brown butter sage recipe that blew my mind. Since then, I've been putting this concoction on anything I can find -- and the food blogs are in on it, too.
The best part about making brown butter sage sauce? It's spectacularly easy. Plus, fresh sage tends to brown within the week, so you have every excuse to make as much of this stuff -- and slather it over bowls and bowls of pasta -- as you can. Happy cold-weather cooking!
