1. Clean the sink daily
Sinks can get notoriously gross from little leftover bits of food and grease on your plates, pots and pans. A dirty sink can be smelly, and it makes it hard to utilize it for other tasks, like washing vegetables or draining pasta. Give your sink a good, deep clean every day to prevent food buildup and odors. If you cook multiple meals a day, you may want to wipe down your sink more than once.
