has jumped to the 1990s with a new cast – Imelda Staunton is Queen Elizabeth
II, Elizabeth Debicki is Princess Diana and Prince Charles is played by Dominic
West. On the forefront is the divorce of Charles and Di.

2. "A Christmas Story Christmas"
Ralphie and the gang are back, albeit as adults, in this
sequel to 1983’s “A Christmas Story.” Peter Billingsley reprises his role as
the kid who just wanted a BB gun from Santa, now with kids of his own.
Technically, two other films have already tried (and failed) to recapture the magic of the first film,
but hopefully this one sticks.

3. "Wednesday"
Emo sweetheart Wednesday Addams gets her own series,
directed in part by Tim Burton. Starting a new school, Nevermore Academy, she
tries to fit in, while also trying to solve a string of murders. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán cameo
as her amorous parents.

4. "Enola Holmes 2"
Now a detective, just like her big brother Sherlock, Enola
(Millie Bobby Brown) seeks out new adventures and mysteries in this sequel.
Henry Cavill is also back as her bro.

5. "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story"
Harry Potter as Weird Al seems strange, but Daniel Radcliffe
really nails this satirical biopic of the song parody maestro. Most of the
story is un-true in the sex, drugs, and polka take on Yankovic’s life,
co-penned by the artist. Rainn Wilson co-stars as DJ Dr. Demento.
November 4, The Roku Channel
6. "Disenchanted"
Princess Giselle (Amy Adams) is moving to the ‘burbs with
her family in this sequel to “Enchanted,” but instead of a fairy tale
neighborhood, they find it ruled by the evil mean girl Malvina (Maya Rudolph).
To fix her problems, Giselle accidentally Disney-fies the whole town and now
she’s got to figure out a way to reverse the spell.

7. "The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special"
The Guardians (led by Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista) go
Christmas shopping – for Kevin Bacon? – in this intergalactic holiday special.

as a dwarf sorcerer who must lead a group of unlikely heroes to save the world.

9. "Dangerous Liaisons"
This series will serve as the origin story of the toxic
romance between Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont, as made famous
by the 1988 film (and the 1782 novel, of course, with some “Cruel Intentions”
mixed in for good measure).

In 1890s Wyoming, an English woman (Emily Blunt) seeks to avenge
the death of her son with the help of a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout.

11. "Fleishman Is in Trouble"
Jesse Eisenberg stars as a divorced dad whose ex (Claire Danes)
suddenly disappears. It is an adaptation of the wry novel by Taffy Brodesser-Akner
and also stars Lizzy Caplan, Adam Brody, Josh Radnor and Christian Slater.

Adapted from the Emma Donoghue book is this story of a nurse
(Florence Pugh) who travels to the Irish Midlands in 1862 to investigate a girl,
a supposed miracle, who lives without food.

17. "The People We Hate at the Wedding"
Grant Ginder’s wickedly funny novel becomes a film starring
Kristen Bell and Ben Platt as messy siblings attending their wealthy half-sister’s
wedding in England. Allison Janney also appears as their mom.

18. "Spirited"
Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell star in the umpteenth
adaptation of “A Christmas Carol,” but this one has jokes, plus songs by Pasek
and Paul (“The Greatest Showman”) so we’ll allow it.

19. "Welcome to Chippendales"
The latest true crime series, from the creator of “Pam &
Tommy” is this success story of an Indian immigrant who created The Chippendales,
a male adult dance troupe. It turns to murder, though, when a business deal goes
sour.
