1. Tattoos and Permanent Bracelets
Here’s a way to get your guests to really remember your wedding. Hire a tattoo artist or piercer to give guests on-the-scene favors in the
form of tattoos, piercings or permanent bracelets. It will be a night to not
forget (or a day-after decision to potentially regret!)
2. Professional Wedding Content Creators
In 2024, managing your own social media during your wedding
is so yesterday. The happy couple barely have time to eat, never mind photograph
every aspect of the wedding, post it online and make cute video montages.
Luckily, you can hire a content creator for the big day. Think of it like a
videographer, but made for the social media generation.
3. Drone Photographers
If you have a beautiful venue, you’re going to want it
photographed from all angles. Drone photographers can go where no one else can
go, from overhead shots to wide, sweeping shots. Imagine the group shots you
can get from up above? Just plan on leaving it to professionals for safety and
knowledge of FAA guidelines.
4. Drone Shows
Fireworks are loud and not great for the environment. The next
thing in spectacular evening entertainment is a drone show. These computer choreographed
flying lights can form shapes, write the couple’s name and mimic fireworks
without the noise and environmental pollution. What a way to cap the night!
5. Recovery Brunches
For a destination wedding, treat guests to a little recovery
the next morning. At a recovery brunch, guests can eat, maybe drink a little
more and reminisce about the night before. For really wild wedding nights,
maybe hire a mobile recovery lounge with IV drips for hangovers, like the pros
in Vegas do.
6. Live Sketch Artists
Part entertainment, part souvenir, a live sketch artist can
do quick drawings of guests that they can take home and use as a wedding memento. Watching
the artist work is part of the fun and what a unique party favor!
7. After-Party Snacks
With all that drinking and dancing, guests might start to
work up an appetite towards the end of the night. That’s when you bring the
pizza, burgers or donuts in. Even a soft pretzel in a bag with the couple’s
initials would be a welcomed treat.
8. Digital Guest Books
A book with your guests' signatures and well-wishes is fine,
but a digital version is even better. Guests can record short videos and send them to a QR code, plus take candid shots all night long, showcasing things the
couple may have missed. There are app packages that can assist with this, or you
can use Google to set it up yourself.
9. Silent Disco
Love the venue but hate their late night noise ordinance? A
silent disco lets guests rock out to the playlist via headphones while keeping
it quiet. Some silent disco vendors even have multiple playlists to choose from
so each guest can dance to their own beat. Even if you only go silent for a
few songs, it makes for a very funny video.
10. Food Trucks
Food trucks have so many uses at a wedding. They can be a mobile
cocktail bar for the cocktail hour, they can serve casual fast food for the
main event or they can be the place to grab a quick snack on your way out.
With so many food options to choose from via truck form, you can work a food truck into your day however you choose.
