This is the second reboot for this reality series on movie
making. Issa Rae, Kumail Nanjiani and Gina Prince-Bythewood selected a
director from a pool of first-timers – this time all women. When the
winner is picked, the real fun begins, with a lot of film-making drama, too. The
finished movie will stream on Max as well.

Based on Michelle Buteau’s autobiographical essay collection,
this comedy series also stars Buteau. It follows Mavis, a struggling stylist,
fresh off a breakup. As she tries to launch a body-positive fashion line, she
also hits the dating scene, with the support of her friends.

10. "The Deepest Breath"
Take a deep breath and watch this documentary about the extreme
sport of free diving. Competitors dive without SCUBA gear to see who can
go the deepest and the longest without oxygen, sometimes with deadly results.
The film specifically follows diver Alessia Zecchini and her safety diver (and
boyfriend) Stephen Keenan as they try navigating an 85-foot-long underwater
tunnel.

13. "Happiness for Beginners"
A group of strangers (including Ellie Kemper as a newly
divorced woman) come together to hike the Appalachian trail in this film based
on the romance novel of the same name by Katherine Center.

14. "Twisted Metal"
"Deadpool" writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick penned
this adaptation of the Playstation video game series of the same name. Anthony
Mackie plays an amnesiac charged with delivering a mystery package through a post-apocalyptic
world, but only if he can fight off marauders in other vehicles, including a
killer clown in an ice cream truck (Will Arnett).

15. "The Beanie Bubble"
With an unrecognizable Zach Galifianakis in the lead
role, this film goes behind the scenes of the Ty Corporation, makers of Beanie
Babies, and shows what we may have not known about where these stuffed animals
