1. Apple Parsley Breath Boosters
Everybody wins with this herby breath-enhancing treat!
- 1 apple cut into chucks
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup water
- Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth, adding more water if necessary.
- Divide the mixture into an ice cube tray or silicone mold and freeze until solid.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (if using regular PB, make sure it's xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs)
- 1 ripe banana
- Few slices of crispy cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Mash the banana in a bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the peanut butter (and yogurt, if using) until well combined.
- Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds.
- Sprinkle with bacon bits and freeze until solid.
3. Chicken Garden Freezies
Garden adventures without the muddy paws!
INGREDIENTS
- Chopped or shredded cooked chicken
- Low-sodium chicken broth (make sure it's pet-safe)
- Chopped vegetables (like carrots, peas, broccoli)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix the cooked chicken and chopped vegetables together in a bowl.
- Fill ice cube trays or silicone molds with the chicken and vegetable mixture.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture in the trays or molds and freeze until solid.
4. Banana Bites
Gwen Stefani wasn't wrong, “this s*it is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S!”
INGREDIENTS
- Ripe bananas
- Plain yogurt
DIRECTIONS
- Peel and slice the bananas into rounds.
- Dip each banana slice into the plain yogurt until coated.
- Place the coated banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate and freeze until solid.
5. Crustless PB&J Cubes
The age-old debate of jam or jelly won't come into play once your pooch gets a taste of this one!
INGREDIENTS
- Natural peanut butter (if using regular PB, make sure it's xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs)
- Fresh berries of your, or your pupper’s, choice
- Water
DIRECTIONS
- Mix a small amount of peanut butter with water to create a slightly diluted peanut butter mixture.
- Place a few fresh berries into ice cube trays.
- Pour the diluted peanut butter mixture over the berries in the ice cube trays or silicone mold and freeze until solid.
6. Berry Mint Ice Cubes
Let your furry friend chill on the patio and have their very own "mojito moment!"
INGREDIENTS
- Fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
- Fresh mint leaves, chopped
- Water
DIRECTIONS
- Place a few berries and a sprinkle of chopped mint leaves into each compartment of an ice cube tray or silicone mold.
- Fill the tray with water and freeze until solid.
7. Apple Carrot Frosty Paws
Your pup won't carrot all that you're sneaking veggies into this yummy treat!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix the applesauce, grated carrots and yogurt (if using) in a bowl until well combined.
- Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds and freeze until solid.
8. Watermelon Woofsicles
No more melon-choly for your furry buddy when offered this sweet summer treat!
INSTRUCTIONS
- 2 parts chopped seedless watermelon
- 1 part plain yogurt
DIRECTIONS
- Puree watermelon chunks until smooth.
- Add 1 tablespoon of yogurt to each space into ice cube tray or silicone mold.
- Fill the rest of the way with watermelon purée and freeze until solid.
9. Not-Just-For-Fall Pumpkin Paws
This pumpkin spice and everything nice treat will make your pup feel like jumping into a freshly-raked pile of leaves!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree (NOT canned pumpkin pie)
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp natural peanut butter (if using regular PB, make sure it's xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs)
- Pinch of cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk or blend all ingredients together.
- Spoon into ice cube tray or silicone mold and freeze until solid.
10. Strawberry Fields Forever Pup Cream
Even John Lennon would approve of this treat for your furry rockstar (we assume)!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Mash the banana in a bowl until smooth.
- In a blender or food processor, puree the chopped strawberries until smooth.
- Mix together the mashed banana, yogurt, strawberry puree and honey (if using) until well combined.
- Pour into freezer-safe container and freeze until solid.
