Florence Pugh is at it again with another food-related Vogue video, and the Internet (read: I) cannot get enough. Pugh, whose father is a professional chef, grew up with a penchant for delicious food and an appreciation of sharp knives. Whether she's capturing our hearts on the big screen or enjoying 11 English dishes for a mukbang (a video of someone eating a meal), we're simply entranced.
"The Wonder" actor's chill demeanor and velvety voice immediately put us at ease, which tracks when you consider her laissez-faire attitude towards actually making the garlic crostini. What temperature are we setting the oven for? How long should you keep the crostinis in there? Who knows? Pugh just shrugs, but we suppose it helps that the dish itself -- garlicky bread topped with tomatoes, feta and/or anchovies -- seems pretty failure-proof as long as you're keeping an eye on the dish: "I always like making a few mistakes because to me, that's where the best food and cooking comes from." You're 100 percent right, because this isn't baking.
We actually get two recipes for the price of one in this video, because while the bread is toasting, Pugh whips up a martini with a twist. Raise your hand if you enjoy sipping on a beverage while cooking! Did we mention that she does it all in a stunning red dress? If we're being honest, the 27-year-old could be making toast and we still wouldn't be able to look away (that's essentially what this Vogue video is). Here's to more therapeutic food content with Flo!
