Sloths – adorable slow-moving creatures or creepy killers? This
movie supposes the latter (have you seen their claws?) as a pet slowly wreaks havoc
on a sorority house. You’ll be laughing so hard at this horror-comedy that you won’t
have time to think about the implausibility of it all.

This R-rated comedy stars some pretty dirty dogs (voiced by
Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx) on an epic adventure, looking for a home.

4. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem"
The heroes in a half-shell are back to entertain a new
generation. Voiced by a mix of newcomers and all-stars (including Jackie Chan,
Ice Cube, Seth Rogen and John Cena) these turtle brothers just want to be
accepted by their native New York as normal teens, so they perform heroic acts,
guided by their new friend April.

Helen Mirren stars as Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir in
this glimpse at her leadership during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Liev Schreiber
co-stars as US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

6. "Meg 2: The Trench"
A bigger, more action-packed gnarlier sequel to “The Meg,” reminiscent
to “Jaws 3-D” finds Jason Statham playing cat and mouse with a posse of ginormous
megalodon sharks at a beach resort. Yes, you can see this film in 3-D as
well.

7. "Shortcomings"
Randall Park (“Fresh Off the Boat”) directs this indie comedy
about a young filmmaker in Berkeley, unsure of what he wants romantically. When
his girlfriend moves to New York, Ben explores the dating world with the help of
his best friend Alice, a queer grad student.

8. "The Last Voyage of the Demeter"
One chapter in Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” was the inspiration
for this story about a cargo ship bringing wooden crates from Romania to London.
Strange things begin to happen on board, and soon the crew is fighting for their
life against an evil force onboard.

9. "The Pod Generation"
This sharp satire, set in the not-so-distant future, stars Emilia
Clarke and Chiwetel Ejiofor as a couple who decide to have a baby. Their baby
grows in an artificial pod so they can share the experience equally, but it
comes with added pressure for them as well.

Jaime Reyes, a directionless young man, finds the Scarab, an
ancient alien artifact which grants him sleek blue exoskeleton armor and secret
powers. He becomes Blue Beetle, a DC superhero and part of the DCU.

Based on a true story, this film combines a gamer, a race
car driver (David Harbour) and an executive (Orlando Bloom) to form a
real-life racing team.

A prequel to “Wonder,” this movie tells the story of Julian’s
grandmother (Helen Mirren) during her youth in Nazi-occupied France. She
recounts to Julian how a classmate and his family risked everything to keep
her hidden during World War II.

13. "Back on the Strip"
Merlin moves to Las Vegas to become a magician but gets
hired to be part of the revival of the Chocolate Chips, a once-famous Black
male stripper crew. Luther (Wesley Snipes) tries to reunite the crew and get
them in shape so they can save the hotel where they used to perform.
