1. Bruges, Belgium
Take a walk in this fairytale city and be sure to grab a
delicious waffle while you stroll. Admire the white swans, shop around Belfort and then climb high to see the sights of the city. After heading to the
outskirts of the city to see the famous windmills, return for a beer
tasting or afternoon tea. It’s a romantic city to take in with a certain
someone.
2. Florence, Italy
Art is the major draw for Florence, where you’ll see famous
works by Michelangelo, Da Vinci and Botticelli including “David,” “The Last
Supper” and “The Birth of Venus.” We could only imagine Emily's IG post with "David"! After taking in the art, step outside the museums to admire the
architecture, gardens and sweeping piazzas. Shop like Emily for your own artisanal
masterpieces in the form of jewelry, leather, ceramics and perfume, then enjoy
a Florentine-style steak, truffle pasta and lovely glass of local wine.
3. Vienna, Austria
Emily's and your first stop should be a cup of world-famous Viennese
coffee, and you might as well grab some apple strudel, too. Snap a selfie in
front of one of the three large palaces and then ask your musical Mindy-like bestie
to visit a classical concert or opera at one of the city’s many historical venues.
4. Seville, Spain
Take a deep breath and soak in the smell of orange trees
around the patio for the Seville Cathedral. Parque de María Luisa is the city’s
main public park for sunbathing, hanging with friends or admiring the grand
architecture of the Plaza de España. The Alcázar of Seville royal palace is
perfect for a stroll before heading out for dinner at Metropol Parasol, a more
modern marvel. Cap the night watching a sultry flamenco show.
5. Ljubljana, Slovenia
If the castles, cathedrals and markets don’t enchant you,
head to Dragon Bridge to snap a pic with the city’s famous stone resident. Ljubljana
is one of the greenest cities in Europe, as well as a rising star of the food
scene, giving French chefs a run for their money (sorry, Gabriel).
6. Dubrovnik, Croatia
High walls encircle the city from the sparkling sea to
protect from ancient marauders, but within the city are filming locations from “Game
of Thrones,” tasty pastries to sample and some of the cleanest drinking water
on Earth. Recording a reel at the balancing stone, where a carved stone face
lures visitors to stand on it while taking off their shirt without falling in
exchange for true love, will certainly earn new followers.
